The Ultimate Game Day Essentials: Football Edition

Game Days can be a whirlwind in and of themselves. Hopefully, with this list, we can help make it a little easier to know what you may need that you don't already have or give you ideas on what you'd like to add. May you take on game days with proper preparation, clarity, and confidence from this football season on. So, let's get into it!

A clear bag is always necessary, whether a clutch or a full backpack like this. If you're feeling fancy, check out these by Cult Gaia, Tory Burch, or even this glass bag by YSL. This is a lifetime investment; the bags will definitely be worn, so why not make them fashionable?!

We also can't even think about leaving the house without things like a portable fan, charger, sunscreen, or chapstick. Let us not forget hand sanitizer. You can keep wipes like these, liquid, or even spray on deck. Whatever your preference, we've got you covered! We also recommend keeping a rain kit handy.

If you're taking on game day with littles, you may want to add a few things to your list. For the smallest of the bunch, everyday essentials like diapers, wipes, and a change of clothing are mandatory. Depending on the weather and your child's age, a bucket hat or baseball cap of some sort would be beneficial. The stadiums can be extremely loud, so noise-canceling headphones would be great to protect those little ears and keep them from being startled. In some areas where the heat can be intense, ice packs, extra sunscreen, and comfort items (ex., favorite blanket, pacifier, etc.) won't hurt either.

Oh, and we wouldn't dare forget to talk about the entertainment! So, CHARGE THE IPAD or TABLET! No, seriously. If it keeps them calm, have it charged, packed, and ready to go the night before. Pack all the snacks, if you can bring them into your stadium. The Bento Box collection or these containers are a mom's best friend for snacks and meals on the go. Add a coloring book and/or an activity book and maybe a few favorite toys from home, and you're good to go! Whatever you do, stay calm and hydrated, and enjoy the game!

Now that all that is out of the way, let's get ready for some football! Let us know below if there are any additional items that you would add or if this helped you!
